Vision and Objectives of LRMDS

The Learning Resources Management and Development System (LRMDS) ensures the provision of quality, accessible, and curriculum-aligned learning resources that support effective teaching and meaningful learning across basic education.

Vision for LRMDS

The provision of adaptive learning resource systems, fully functioning at the regional and division levels, effectively developing and distributing adequate and varied learning resources to teachers and learners from both formal Basic Education and Alternative Learning Systems.

Objectives of LRMDS

1. Strengthened learning resource development and distribution systems at Regional and Divisional levels.

2. Improvement of instructional and learning materials through support for assessment, acquisition, adaptation, development, production, and distribution.

3. Digitalized learning materials including teacher guides, modules, and learner materials, particularly for early grades.

4. Enhanced provision of quality instructional and learning materials aligned with curriculum standards.

5. Modified and enhanced instructional materials for Alternative Delivery Modes and Learning Systems.

6. Improved development and utilization of quality assurance systems.

7. Development of ICT-enabled solutions integrated with national systems to strengthen learning resource support services.

The Nature of LRMDS Resources

The LRMDS is a web-based catalogue and repository of learning, teaching, and professional development resources. It functions as a clearinghouse while serving as a quality assurance system supporting DepEd Regions, Divisions, and Schools.
